Journalism

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism and Media from Shippensburg University in May 2025. While I learned about all of the concentrations within the major in extensive detail, my primary concentration was journalism. I have a passion for journalism, as I believe writing can make a difference within our world in ways that differ from others.

I was the managing editor of Shippensburg University's The Slate, and I was in this position from March 2024 to May 2025.

I have been a part of The Slate since early 2023, and I started as a staff writer. 

I freelanced for the Shippensburg News-Chronicle in 2023.
