Journalism

I am a communication, journalism and media major at Shippensburg University. While I learned about all of the concentrations within the major in extensive detail, my primary concentration was journalism. I have a passion for journalism, as I believe writing can make a difference within our world in ways that differ from others.

I was the managing editor of Shippensburg University's The Slate, and I have been in this position since March 2024.

I have been a part of The Slate since early 2023, and I started as a staff writer. 

I freelanced for the Shippensburg News-Chronicle in 2023.

I freelanced for the Carlisle Sentinel in the summer of 2024.
