2024 Election Year
This election year, I had the opportunity to cover many political events.
I got to attend a Bus Tour in Carlisle that welcomed Govs. Josh Shapiro, Janet Mills, Gretchen Whitmer, Tony Evers and more.
I went to former Vice President Kamala Harris' rally in Wilkes-Barre, PA. I also went to one of her rallies at the PA Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg. These events welcomed several different politicians, including former senator Bob Casey and Gov. Tim Walz.
I took many videos of these events.
Videography
Videography, along with photography, is one of the most beneficial aspects of modern media. Having a video story within the written copy can be important to viewers who need news quickly, and those who dislike reading can easily access information.

I have had the opportunity to use a cam-corder to create video-based stories for The Slate and in my Digital Journalism course.
